A little cruise for Christmas

Going Organic

The organic market is located at the Centro del Lago, a plaza at the intersection of the libramiento and the carretera. Every Tuesday dozens of people line up before 10:00 a.m. to be the first to grab their favorite vegetables and breads. What a variety of items to choose! Dark green leaves of spinach and kale, varieties of lettuce, heirloom tomatoes...


Breathing Easy

We returned to Mexico to escape the brutal heat wave in the Midwestern United States. Our friends asked why we went south where it would be hotter than home. We answered "No, it's cooler."
