Forest walks

We packed up our gear and spent the morning walking through the rainforest to Long Beach. On this walk we spotted two snakes… right on our path. There weren't terribly large, and we felt quite reassured as we have heard that there aren't any deadly snakes in Canada, and only a handful that can make one sick. We left Port Alberni early the next morning, and drove to Tofino… sea side town on the western coast. Although just a small town, it is also an incredibly expensive place to be seen.
