Tues. Jul. 12, 2011: Winnipeg, MB ~ Regina, SK (3:15am/5:15 our time) We’re in Regina. We were supposed to get here early, but…We got seriously delayed by traffic mishaps in the Peg (i.e. missed turns + construction + traffic gridlock), and we arrived late. We’re tired and grumpy. Today was the long 8 hour drive to Regina. Once we crossed into the Saskatchewan border, the area really turns into prairie land. The roads much quieter, the land much flatter, and loads of canola fields, turning the scenery into a bright yellow for miles. It was really flat and you get a good sense of the vastness.
