Hove Travel Stories
Mauritian Supper
In circumstances like the ones I find myself in, it’s very hard to do any serious travelling. Even though I am periodically tempted by my father to join him on his travels to far-away countries, I can’t even think about actually leaving Brighton and getting lost in the jungles of Indonesia. Oh, how I wish I could! The good thing about living in the UK, especially in Brighton, is the fact that there are so many different cultures mingled togeth...

Why I am not around as often as I used to be
This week has been really busy so far. Unlike all the other weeks preceding it. Not that I was bored or anything, just I must say I had much more time for relaxing at home. My two-week trip to Slovakia, two months ago, was really very nice, just like any other of the trips to Slovakia I make throughout the year. I will have to look for a stable source of income when I get back in September, which troubles me a bit. I am getting displeased with the "web developer" job I'm doing now, as it's nothing like what I thought it would be. The summe...

Gawd, how I wish it stopped raining!
This weather is unbearable. It rains and rains and never stops. Well, it does stop for a few hours, but that's when the terrible wind blows the worst. I wake up at the sound of a jackhammer, for some wise ass decided to change all the water pipes in our street, which should take just about 12 weeks - enough to spoil almost every morning of this miserable summer. OK, so I am up, and it's close to 8am. The weather. Oh, the weather! Wish it was sunn...
