4th and last week

This past week was our last for Italian classes in Verbania. Our third week in Verbania started with a day off from classes (Monday only) because of the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin and the festival of the middle of summer – Ferragosto. This second week of Italian studies has gone well. We took a field trip on Wed. to a nearby garden called Giardini di Villa San Remigio. It is set on top of a hill overlooking the lake. James and I are studying Italian in Verbania (on Lago Maggiore – a lake in the far northern part of Italy). We are taking five hours a day, one-on-one with an instructor.
