Early start...

I stayed up until 2:30am last night working on stuff for school and FINALLY getting a few pictures uploaded to this site. This morning Al woke me up at 8:00am... and I was NOT happy. We managed to leave the hotel around 9:30 and set out to find the "Festung Ehrenbreitstein" (Rock Fortress) where the Mosel and Rhine meet - it's thought to be the larges...


15.Amsterdam to Koblenz

The journey from Amsterdam to KobLenz was full of scenic beauty. It was a very long drive about 5 to 6 hours. We stay at the border of Holland & Germany for lunch, we cut one our food tin of chicken karahi. On the way we cross the city of Utrecht & Cologne before arriving at KobLenz, the beautiful city of Germany. We arrive at Cob Lenz at 7.00 p.m. ...


A corner near a fortress...

More on the hotel in Bendorf - absolutely amazing. It opened just last May and has quite the ambitious plan to build another building for more rooms, a biking trail, climbing wall, pool area, etc. It is situated in the hills of the town and backs up to trees and farmland. Very very quiet and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. I guess ...
