Border Crossing in Bulgaria (Part 2)

My first but hopefully not last experice with Eastern Europe...

So, Sofia Bulgaria was the first stop on our trip into Bulgaria, but we ended up just staying there the whole time. The "Hostel Mostel" was our residence of choice, and it was a great one! It was pretty cold, not a lot of snow, and a lot of cool architecture. We met some really cool people from around Europe, and managed to do the sightseeing as well...


Day of Travelling

So jumped on the train at 22:00 hours, had a compartment with 4 french lads from Nantes, good lads, slept till about 12 noon which was a bonus, read quite a lot, learnt some italian, bit of banter in between! got a lot of attitude from passport control in and out of Bulgaria and entering Romania... 27 hours on a train... YYEEESSS!!

Jumped on the train at 8:30, after getting woken up by the very nice lady in my hostel, what a star, she gave me a hug and a kiss goodbye, very sweet of her!
