livingston friday night and rio dulce

got into Livingston which is a pretty town situated on the point between the mouth of the rio dulce and the ocean. Checked into the Garifuna Hotel then went out and toured around town for the rest of the day had a very early dinner then Amber took an early evening nap while I journaled. The second half...

Well things have gotten so much better. We had a good time in Belize and recomend going to the Blue Creek Caves if you are near Punta Gorda (PG). It is this amazing and huge, beautiful and traquil place!!! You walk in about 1/2 mile to this dynamic cave. You have to swim in after the first 10 ft. Life in Livingston

The trip to Livingston took us with all means of transport: walking, rickshaw, school bus, lift in the back of a pickup, minibus, taxi, lancha and walking again, and we finally arrived. The schoolbus should have taken us to the border, but dropped us at a little shithole instead. There the only transport we saw was a pickup, full with hodurena...
