Sint Maarten

After 4 ports in 4 days, we both just wanted a beach day. Philipsburg has really accomodated that for cruise ships! They've extended the beach and added beach chairs and umbrellas. We took the $6 round trip water taxi from the ship and walked about 3 bars down to find chairs from the Black Pearl! $15 for two loungers, umbrellas, 2 frozen drinks for Shaw...


Wilemstad, a very nice city

so we pulled into Wilemstad in Curacao on Easter Sunday, yeah that makes sense... I would guess it was about 50/50 on stores opening or closing, oh well. We did find a nice Dutch cafe open at Plein Wilhemina so that worked for lunch, and amazingly a rum house around the corner!
