Today I went on a boat trip around the island. A real disappointment and nothing compared to what I have seen before in other locations. It was still good to be out on the water though and snorkling. Somehow I managed to burn my bum and that was with using SPF50. The usual Thai excuses were given for only visiting 3 of the 6 advertised snorkling sites. ...

I got off of the train at 4.15am at Chumpon and left Alix sleeping as she was getting off at Surat Thani. It was dead easy from the station to Koh Tao.
