Korea, South Travel Stories
A Surprise City Tour
Seoul, 12 January
While the aircraft was descending, the pilot made an announcement that the current local weather outside is -10C. Brrrrr! Just the thought alone made me shiver.
Note: I am only spending one day here, less than 24 hours so I will not claim that I know this place. I will only visit Seoul, the Special City, the capital and the largest metropolis.
South Korea, located in the continent of Asia
Exploration and Challenges!
It was a cold night. We had a comforter, but it was not warm enough for me. I had to go into another room and grabbed another one in the middle of the night since my legs and feet were shivering!
In the morning, Lavinia and I decided on a game plan for the day. I found out Lavinia had training in Seoul in the summer, and she went to a cat café. I asked her if there was a dog café instead because I’m allergic and am not too fond of cats. She ...
My flight from Beijing International Airport landed at 8:25pm in Seoul, South Korea. I was very drowsy as I stepped off the plane, especially since I slept through the whole landing process. I was awoken by the rustling sound of suitcases immediately after I faintly heard beep of the seat belt signs turning off. I stepped off the airplane ready for my adventure. Day 28 Busan 1/04/2011
Early this morning the ship altered course to port and set an easterly course, passing between mainland South Korea and the island of Cheju Do. Then at about 7am we set a northeasterly course across the Western Channel between the mainland and Tsushima Island to approach Busan. We docked at about 11am.
Because we only had half a day in Busan we simply went off the ship and walked around the city. We visited the fish m...
Missed our Flight...Not Surprised.
Sorry for the serious lack of updates in the past few days. Turns out internet is not a common option at hotels in Shanghai. To be honest, neither is toilet paper, soap, napkins, water, or anything cold!!!
But I'll be sure to update you on my many adventures and opinions about Shanghai on a later date. Right now I'm sitting in the tiny lobby of the Hotel Hub Herb in Incheon, Korea hopping around because I don't want any more mosquito bites fr...
