After my week at the ashram I crashed back in Rishikesh for a couple nights and then caught a 4am but to Joshimath in the mountains. My knee was still a bit iffy but I decided to at least see the mountains and then think about attempting a trek. The ride was pretty crazy... single lane road winding through the mountains along steep cliffs for 12 hours...
