Big Buddha...

Random day on the road today... set off with an American Couple who had nicely paid the majority of the bus rental... the buddha was exactly what it says on the tin... bloody huge and is very impressive! but the randomness started afterwards when we all went for a meal... i wasn't that hungry but was willing to chip in... the American girl did the order...


Giant Buddha

Today we headed on a 2 hour bus journey to see the Giant Buddha at Leshan. While the bus ride was nothing to write home about, the Buddha was pretty astonding. It stands 71 metres tall and is carved into the side of a cliff. Pretty cool. So, what do we think of China so far? Nothing like we expected in the least. I'm not sure if it is the upcomi...
